The following is the Russian translation of several notes put down by John Locke after 1694 in his notebook named “Adversaria Theologica 94”. These allow a clearer view evolution Locke’s theological standing and make more certain design to write treatise on soteriology containing polemics with Biddle Jean Calvin. More positive ideas are rooted mortalism Biblical hermeneutics. concept mortalism, sometimes materialism XVII century, presupposes that death takes whole man, not only body, consequently man what be raised, though changed state. also introduces new mode argumentation relying paraphrasing texts Bible, primarily Epistles St. Paul, revealing original sense fundamental as well philosophical notions. suggests matter disposed receive from God, if His wish, faculties perception understanding or substance such faculties. This notion disposition used discussion tabula rasa primary Fall, restoration Man state ante lapsum.
